Global Earthing System

A GES interconnects local earthing systems to share fault current and minimize earth potential rise, creating a quasi-equipotential network that limits dangerous touch voltages.

GES

GES is applicable to substations in dense urban, suburban, industrial, and interconnected networks where multiple earth electrodes and protective earth conductors are bonded together. It is especially important in open industrial environments to prevent dangerous touch voltages in LV systems caused by HV faults.

Lightning Protection System

A Lightning Protection System (LPS) safely intercepts and conducts lightning to ground while equalizing potentials of all metallic parts, preventing flashovers, fires, and damage to structures and people from lightning effects.
